In local communities, there is an influx of pesticide, herbicide, and insecticide usage. This is even more prominent in rural communities. I petition that we as a community need to band together and ban these harmful tools. Not only are they harmful to the users themselves and people nearby but they are deadly to our pollinators. This has a disastrous effect locally and nationally. Without pollinators, many of the goods and food items that consumers use daily will no longer be available. If we ban pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides, we’ll not only be saving pollinators but we will also be saving ourselves. Not all of these items need to be banned either. There are plenty that are safe to use both for the user and the pollinator. Help support our butterflies, bees, and other pollinators unless you want to live in a world where your kids, grandkids and other loved ones never get to experience the wonder of seeing a Monarch, or tasting real fresh honey. Help us support the livelihood that we all so enjoy.
