Hello my fellow Oregonians,

I work in a childcare facility that is privately owned. The owner will not require COVID-19 vaccinations. The problem is we work with vulnerable children. The children in my care are both too young to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and too young to wear face coverings. It is our job to protect these children. 

Our facility has already shut down a number of times due to teachers getting COVID, requiring us to quarantine. Many children have even gotten COVID-19 from these instances.

Kate Brown, I ask you to please create a vaccine mandate for childcare workers in Oregon. The vaccine is backed by science and is proven to be effective.
