Its been very sad to know that we, kannadigas, are not getting much job opportunities here in our home-Karnataka! I have been noticing these from my college days even during placements, More and more opportunities are given to non kannadiga job-seekers in Karnataka rather kannadigas!

Its very shameful to know this and government is not bothered about this.

I have worked in 3 companies till now in Bangalore and the percentage wise kannadigas were lesser that 10-15%.
So where is the place for kannadigas in Karnataka?
why are we treated like this in our own home?
I see many young people moving out of Karnataka seeking job. When some other state can give an opportunity for us why not the same in our home Karnataka?
In one of the well known MNC ,out of 100 employees i see less than 13 kannadigas! If we go to some malls or any hotels in Karnataka and if we speak Kannada they don't understand at all. Is it not shameful?

Where do we stand and why should we leave our home Karnataka and move to other states even when we have plenty of jobs in Karnataka?
I kindly request the Karnataka government to bring a rule/law in Karnataka so that we kannadigas should be given first preference and fix and minimum of 60% kannadigas in all offices (All type of office) in Karnataka help kannadigas get job here in Karnataka and this in turn helps to retain kannadigas in Karnataka!!
