Conduct Re-Exam for the 56000 Candidates of 545 Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Posts

Conduct Re-Exam for the 56000 Candidates of 545 Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Posts
The Issue
To
The Chief Minister
Government of Karnataka
56000 students took the written examination to recruit 545 Police Sub Inspector that was conducted on 3rd October 2021, of which the results were out on 19th January 2022. Many corrupt practices were observed during the conduct of this exam, which has been acknowledged by the Chief Minister, Home Minister and Director General of Police of the State. The Karnataka Government has handed over the case to CID to investigate. So far many arrests have been made in the case. It is been circulated by newspaper and media that around 300 such posts have been appointed by taking bribe to an extent of 70 lakhs per post therefore making this a big scam in government recruitment totalling around 210 crores.
It is a question of 56000 students and their future. Majority of the student who write this exam are from economically backward classes with a dream to get a government job. They see it as a way out of poverty along with fulfilling their zeal and passion to serve the country as Police Inspectors. Corrupt practices have shattered their dreams. This could lead to distrust in the government system by the future generation and therefore de-motivate them from taking up these competitive exams.
To instil back their trust in the system and motivate them we insist on
1. Conducting Re - Examination to all the 545 posts
2. Thorough investigation to make sure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
Kindly sign the petition to stand with the future of our State and insist the Government to make sure every exam is conducted with utmost fairness and transparency in future
