With the current state this country is in because of the the pandemic, it is extremely difficult for parents of students to find school pants that fit properly- seeing as for most stores in Calcasieu Parish, the dressing rooms are shut down. Due to the dressing room shut downs, and shut downs of a few clothing stores that sell school pants, parents and students might have to buy, try on, and try to return non fitting pants; but the problem with that is some stores are not allowing returns during this time, so parents who cannot buy more than two pair of pants are going to have to buy at least three or four pairs to make sure their student has well fitting uniform pants for school- and half of these pairs won’t even be worn due to the fact they cannot fit nor be returned- or their student will have to go back to school in pants that are too small or too big. This isn’t fair to the kids who can’t afford to buy multiple pair of pants, or can no longer fit in last years pants.

To make everything easier for both students and parents, let all students, or at least 7-12th grade wear jeans to school. We are only going for Two days a week anyways, so again- why should we make our parents waste money on pants that probably won’t even fit if we’re only going to wear them for two days?
