Paternity leave for fathers is only 1-2 weeks and often fathers are not given time off as well as pay. 

Fathers should have an equal hand at bringing up their children, and the reduced time off belittles their important involvement in a child’s upbringing. 

It also reinforces the idea that women are responsible for children whilst men can progress their careers. 

Let fathers have the opportunity to bond with their child in the earliest stages of their life.
