On December 10, 1993, Tim Garsow, 20, went to a friend’s apartment to retrieve a coat that he had left there. While there he was approached by I.G. Wimbish who had been vandalizing cars in the area. Wimbish thought Tim would report him to the police so he hit Tim in the head with a blunt object. After Tim had fallen to the ground, Wimbish continued to hit him in the head. Tim was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

I.G. Wimbish pled guilty to first degree murder and was sentenced to life. He will have served only 18 years when he is considered for parole.

We, the undersigned, STRONGLY OPPOSE parole for I. G. Wimbish. Justice demands he serve the full prison term given to him at the time he was sentenced for this heinous crime.
