Carbon monoxide chambers are an outdated and incredibly inhumane form of euthanasia. Gas chambers cause extreme stress and pain on the animal being euthanized and deep psychological effects on the person performing the euthanasia. Banning euthanasia by gas chambers would be a huge step forward for animal welfare in Kansas.
