This petition is important because Kansas students can't keep footing the bill for their education, meanwhile, University CEOs receive raises in their salaries. While universities continue to raise their tuition in Kansas more students fall further into debt. After the Kansas Board of Regents approved a 3.0-3.6% increase in tuition for the six Regent Universities, The Kansas Board of Regents also approved a 2.0% salary increase for University CEOs and Chancellor. These are the same leaders that have continued to receive increases in their salaries year after year. It's time that students across Kansas make their voices loud and clear.
