Good morning supporters! The first letter; including all supporting petition documents, are going out to Kaneff this Thursday. We've indicated that Kaneff should notify every unit by written mail as to the resolution of this issue and/or any other information. TimeLine of events: Letter 2 for Ward 7 MP - Nov 11, 2016 Letter 3 to OLTB - Nov 25, 2016 Contact of local news resources Nov 30, 2016-Dec 2, 2016 (if no resolution is indicated or reached in a timely manner) We have opened an email account should any of these above contact sources wish to reach out that way as we are representing all those who've signed in support. Should anyone from the offices above send mail, we will post the message/s here in the 'Updates' right away. We have also contacted the Landlord and Tenant Board anonymously to find out specifically what can be done and what forms can be filed against a residential corporation for a reduction of rent because they are failing to provide services and hindering the reasonable enjoyment of our building complex. This form is called Form T3 Tenant Application for a Rent Reduction. The cost to file is $45 for the 1st form, and $5 for every form (unit) thereafter. This would be a last resort should those who've signed in support wish to go forward with it. The petition will remain open during this process and will only be closed when satisfactory results occur. Keep the word flowing and keep the signatures coming! Perseverance is key!
