President Rodrigo Roa Duterte met with some members of Cancer Coalition Philipines to discuss our campaign for the passage of a National Integrated Cancer Control Act. The President along with Ms. Honeylet Avanceña, herself a staunch Health advocate, listened to key points on the need to pass a law to help cancer patients - across all cancers, all stages, all ages and all genders. It has been the Coalitions dream to bring to the Halls of Malacañang our collective voice to push for a truly integrated plan of action to fight cancer and we thank the President and Ms. Avanceña for their time. So watch this space as we work together with all key stakeholders to finally make this long time dream of millions of cancer patients, survivors and their respective families a reality.
