For over a decade, Kaitlyn Chukwunede has caused immeasurable harm to innocent animals, prompting the community to rise and call on the justice system to take action.

Over one hundred documented defenseless animals, birds, and reptiles have been neglected and/or died at her hands. This ripple effect of pain and suffering has not gone unnoticed. This is not a faceless issue; each of these animals mattered, had names and endured the pain inflicted by her.

Research maintains that animal cruelty is a predictor of future violence towards humans, with an alarming 71% of domestic violence victims reporting their abuser also targeted pets (Animal Legal Defense Fund, 2019). 

It is imperative that this kind of callous disregard for life is met with appropriate consequences.

We, the concerned citizens, call upon the legal system to dispense the maximum sentence for Kaitlyn Chukwunede and the despicable acts resulting in multiple counts of animal cruelty.

Furthermore, we demand she be forever banned from owning, keeping, harboring, caring for or working with any an animal. This kind of brutality has a pattern. It has continued over the last ten years and this should not be tolerated nor enabled. Innocent lives, those that cannot protect themselves, need to be protected. Justice needs to be served.
