Angela Wypasek is a political figure serving as the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney in Ohio, having been appointed to the position in January 2023. With over twenty years of experience as a prosecutor, she has successfully tried more than 140 felony jury trials. Wypasek joined the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office Felony Division in 2018 and previously worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Summit County. She holds a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from Tiffin University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law. In 2022, she was recognized as Ohio’s Outstanding Assistant Prosecuting Attorney of the Year by the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association, reflecting her dedication and leadership in the field.
