Dear everyone, I thank you all tremendously from the bottom of my heart for supporting this petition. 

This has led me to understand that many others share these feelings, and rightly so. The impact of rebidding extends far beyond just maintaining a typical 9-to-5 or even a 7-to-7 shift. It threatens the continuity of care that healthcare professionals have diligently built over the years, undermining the trust and relationships that are essential to effective patient care.

To Kaiser Permanente Decision Maker in this email, this message is for you. As a patient, I truly appreciate the incredible support I receive from the clinical staff. Their gentle approach while taking my vitals helps ease my anxiety during each visit. The registered nurse that consistently embodies kindness and empathy, providing comfort during uncertain times, and I know they bring a wealth of experience to their care. I'm also grateful for my doctor, who genuinely cares about my well-being and ensures that I'm on the right path with my health. I know you know what I mean, and to sacrifice that atmosphere because of reduction in “membership” or whatever reasoning is beyond me. As others would say, make this make sense or find another way to reduce operating cost.

Every individual who has signed this petition is demonstrating remarkable resilience as they continue to support their patients and providers. Their unwavering dedication to making a meaningful difference in the quality of care should be visible and recognized.

Every department and unit is understaff because you, Kaiser Permanante refuse to replace those that have left.
