My nephew was admitted into kaiser for a seizure. He was placed on the fourth floor with all the Covid patients after testing negative. He was there with all the sedated and intubated patients fighting  for their lives. After May 6th we did not hear from him again and passed away May 17th. He tried to leave the hospital multiple times before being restrained and sedated. He did mention hearing the doctors saying they were going to kill him. We will never know what my nephew went through, but one thing is for sure he just wanted to go home. Kaiser cut all communication by taking his phone. No individual should be forced to have medical treatment they decline, nevertheless be restrained and sedated for multiples days. Loved ones were never allowed due to covid and  I don’t know what protocols kaiser has , but they sure didn’t apply after he passed because there was more than 20 of us in that room. We need answers and Kaiser needs to pay for what they did. I want to see stats of how many people come out alive after being sedated and intubated.  No other family should have to go through what we are going through.
