Many residents across Kaduna State are struggling with outrageous house rents, especially in areas like Karji, Maigero and its environs. The cost of housing is rapidly increasing, making it difficult for average citizens from students, workers, and families to find decent and affordable accommodation.

We call on the Kaduna State Government to:
1. Implement a rent control policy to curb excessive charges.
2. Set up a committee for valuation of properties within the state.
3. Set up a Housing Regulation Committee
4. Invest in affordable housing for low and middle-income earners

We urge you to take swift action to protect the rights and well-being of your people.
