Kachemak Bay State Park is an ideal location for the popular and growing sport of fatbike riding. Fatbikes are bikes with large volume, low pressure, and low impact tires. Unfortunately, the park is currently off limits for riding. However, the land use management plan is in the process of being rewritten. Now is the time to change the rule and let the park know that it is time to end the prohibition. If we miss this chance now, we won't have another for 30 years.
