Artists under JYP Entertainment (JYPE) are currently not on Spotify, a major music streaming platform. This has resulted in people uploading tracks of the said artists on Spotify without the authorization of JYPE.

Fans also may not have the means to purchase the albums of their favourite JYPE artists. By putting their artists on Spotify, it grants fans of the artists free and easy access to their full discography. This would also allow others, who may not be acquainted with their music, to get to listen to their music through suggestions made by the app.
