I have personally travelled in Taiwan several times and I continue to find it to be a wonderful country , very safe too . 

I'm quite disappointed that Canada and many other nations have all but turned their backs on Taiwan, this is not right .

I feel very strongly that not only Canada but all nations should do the right thing and establish formal diplomatic relations with Taiwan .  Taiwan deserves this from us .
