Dear Animal Angels and Individuals of The World Thank you so much for those of you who have supported, signed and shared our petition and allowing your voice to be part of the action to urge the Canadian Government to ban the commercial seal hunt. Throughout the past month or so, we have continuously attempted to contact many political figures of the Canadian Government and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau requesting them to demonstrate compassion by rethinking and becoming a voice themselves against an inhumane action that is costing countless innocent seal their lives, and also pulling their involvement in the funding of such actions in hopes of finally banning this dying industry. However, even with the voices of the people and our constant pressure being put on these political figures and influence, it seems that our urgent message and hope is falling upon deaf ears, and that the acknowledgement of such voices and pressure does not seem to be taken seriously enough for things to change.... and such silence on their part needs to end, for it is time that we are heard... not by some, but by all. The commercial seal hunt is truly a dying industry, and unnecessary especially in a modern society... and that such cruelty and inhumanity for mere products as fur, seal oil, aphrodisiacs etc should not be permitted and accepted, and even with many bans around the world for such products, the Canadian Government should be rethinking their investment and participation in such industry as the seal hunt ---- but yet they continue to allow it to occur. What we truly need is the Government and political figures to improve animal welfare, and bring forth a change that many are calling for - to remove their financial investments and involvement and perhaps look toward a possible solution as an immediate by-out, before millions of more tax dollars disappear along with this industry. But such change and difference cannot occur without the voices of the people, and their involvement in the action needed to make this dream a reality and save/protect the innocent lives of the seal species.
