Dear Prime Minister Justin Trudeau & Canadian Government: We as individuals of the World are coming to you with much urgency to request and urge you, not just as political figures, but as humanity to put a stop to the Canada's Commercial Seal Hunt. For years thousands of innocent lives have fallen prey to a dying-industry for product manufacturing and profit --- innocent lives that have been beaten, shot and treated inhumanly for such dollars. It is time for all of us to come together, Governments included, to show that the hope in humanity does exist, and that we value all life as life and not just dollar signs and price tags. That such time is now, and within a civilized society that such inhumanity and cruelty should not be accepted or tolerated. It is with this petition that we are hoping that you will see the countless voices speaking out and acknowledge these voices as a form of opening your eyes that the commercial seal should no longer exist, and that innocent lives should be saved and protected and not viewed as products for humanity's profit or accessory. The time for change is now. We call upon you as political figures to do what is right, not just for some, but for all and remove your participation and financial involvement in this issue, and be role models for the next generations and a better world for the future.
