America has not implemented the proper steps necessary to control the Covid-19 pandemic within its borders. This has been made very evident by the most recent spikes throughout many American states and the government's blatant ignorance toward the virus. Our shared border with America should remain closed until America has implemented a reasonable plan to control the pandemic and have shown a reasonable downward trend in cases nationally. Essential cross border movement should still continue.
