
1) THE PRESS: After getting ZERO responses, I sent a follow-up e-mail to the original recipients (CBC Toronto; CP24; Bell Media; Globe and Mail; Toronto Star; Toronto Sun) on 10th inst., and forwarded that message to CBC's Marketplace on 13th. Here it is:
"I STIIL can't breathe!
More than 2 weeks have passed since I submitted a request to have my voice heard. I got no response.
Do not be a part of the systemic racism in Canada by selectively choosing whom you present to the public and give a platform on which to share their stories. Black Lives Matter does NOT represent or speak for ALL of us that form the Black diaspora.

2) POLITICIANS: Again, ZERO responses. So, I followed up with this on 13th inst.:
"I am extremely disappointed, though not surprised, that not one of you responded. Worse yet, I have seen or heard nothing from either of you with regard to the systemic anti-Black racism and discrimination that exists in this country and that has been the topic of increasing public outcry.
I will not waste any more time with you, moving the appeal to the leaders of the Federal parties. In the meantime, I am sharing this message with the 2 MPPs in Toronto, who stood with and added their voices to those of their constituents. Kudos to them! I wish I had representation on the level their constituents have in them. Shame on mine!

Then, just hours ago, I got a phone call from Ms. Horwath's office. I spoke with the gentleman for a while and, in response to his question as to what I would like from her (as the RBC matter is a federal issue), I pointed out that Ms. Horwath, beyond a politician, is a parent, human, fellow Canadian. In short, I asked for her immediate support by signing this Petition and by encouraging as many others as possible to do so. We shall see...
