Express Entry Applications (Federal Skilled Workers and Provincial Nominee Applicants) which have been transferred to Montreal Visa Office have seen very little progress in the last few months. This petition is an appeal to the decision makers to finalize outland applications. The delay is worrisome for the applicants who are patiently waiting to receive their approvals. By comparison, other visa offices such as Sydney and Ottawa are processing applications at a much faster rate. Applicants from the year 2022 are currently receiving their approvals from these visa offices, whereas in Montreal applications are pending since 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Almost every applicant in the Montreal visa office has reached out many times to make inquiries about their application but there has been no significant progress on our files. We hope the decision makers will listen to our plea and help us exit this unpleasant phase which we have all found ourselves in.
