Keeping up momentum, and latest news

Hello, Unfortunately I have bad news to start with. For those who have not yet heard, casualties of Trump's attack were reported yesterday. These casualties included 9 civilians, 4 of them were children. Despite this, and despite UN reports and the OPCW statement noting that there is no evidence of Assads involvement in the chemical incident (and that he gave up his arsenal years ago), the US ambassador to the UN continues to claim that the US will take further such action. Russia has begun deploying more ships to the Mediterranean, and installing air defence systems in Syria, while cancelling a flight safety deal with the US. It seems Trump is on a war path, and we must ensure that Canada isn't dragged down that path with him. Thank you sincerely to all who have signed and shared this petition so far!
