With the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, nurses have been experiencing shortage of supplies with personal protective equipments Canada-wide. These are essential in providing care to COVID-19 patients for their own protection and the community's. They are not protected. Their lives are at stake. We should realize that they are the pillars of the healthcare system right now and if they contract the disease, the healthcare support will collapse.
