Canada Revenue Agency declined my tax appeal recently even though I told them I wanted to be treated like Bruce Brine.

He had his' T4A forms deleted after the Tax Court of Canada ordered CRA to delete them when CRA refused his' appeal.

Later, this dispute arose again & Brine won in Tax Court of Canada again AFTER CRA said NO again. In a democracy PRECEDENT is important. CRA is confusing us. Keep it simple. 

Frustrated with CRA stupidity, he sued & was awarded $500,000 for the insurer, Canada (hiding behind Industrial Alliance) issuing tax slips in spite of the previous precedent. Precedent is important in a democracy as stated above in order to allow consistent decisions.

Law & order depends on us thinking we will be treated fairly.

Based on Brine's case, I fully expected to win my CRA appeal & not have to go to Tax Court. Nope. CRA said no.

It seems they want us to have to fight this each & every time, thumbing their nose at the Rule of Law & precedent.

I am asking you to sign this petition & share widely, if you love Canada. Register your displeasure with such injustice towards the disabled, especially disabled veterans.

Do this by asking CRA to delete the T4 or T4A forms on your file if you get any of the following:

1. Service Income Support Insurance Plan (SISIP) LTD as LTD is NOT taxable as per Brine;

2. Earnings Loss Benefit (ELB) as ELB is a copy of SISIP;

3. RCMP Great West Life (GWL) as it is a copy of SISIP;

4. Treasury Board Secretariat Sun Life as it is the same;

5. Brine's Public Service Management Insurance Plan (PSMIP);

6. Canada Pension Plan Disability (CPPD) as the Gill SCC case of 1973 says CPPD is insurance & not a pension;

It is time to tell Canada we will not take this lying down. I am taking this step as CRA insulted me by saying I was simply trying to avoid TAX!

I signed up to serve my country & offered to die for it!

Taxes are easier to pay than DYING or getting MAIMED!

My honour was disrespected & this is the direct result.
