Ban the Use of Circus Animals in Canada

The Issue

Forcing exotic animals to perform degrading stunts and tricks is a useless and outdated form of entertainment. Very few countries have finally realized this. For example, in 2015, the United Kingdom outlawed the use of animals in circuses. Other countries, however, are still far behind. Canada is still one of the many countries that allow elephants, lions, tigers and others to be paraded in circuses across the nation.

The circus animals live in dreadful cramped conditions, are unable to express their natural behaviour and are often subject to brutal treatment in order to force them to perform tricks.

No form of entertainment is worth such cruelty. Sign this petition to show your support and tell the Canadian government to keep animals out of the circus.
