To begin, thank you so much for your support! It has been inspiring for me to see how many people care about this issue. There has been a breaking development in regards to ending plastic waste in Canada: Vancouver has officially announced they will ban plastic straws, foam cups and containers by June 2019. This is great news and brings us one step closer to Canada leading the way to ending senseless plastic waste. To date, we have reached nearly 9,400 signatures, with everyone’s support we can reach 10K and beyond! If you haven’t done it yet, please share this petition!
