Make it mandatory to social distance!

The Issue

With everything that is going on right now, we should all be taking precautions and sacrifice our current lifestyle. The way things are currently going, not many people who are younger ( As I am too) are taking this seriously or even caring. We are on a trajectory which will completely overwhelm our hospitals and healthcare workers. I still see people going out and meeting with many people at a time. I know of a workplace in which they were all potentially exposed to Covid19 and are still going to a bonfire with many attending. If this is the trend we are on, we will never achieve the goal of flattening the curve, this will prove disastrous as many will die and not get the care and treatment they need. What I am hoping for is more enforcement on restaurants and public spaces to be enforced to close, as well as strict enforcement of social distancing. Everyone I hear from is saying that not many places are actually closed and our government (who already responded super late to this outbreak), is being very soft on the “guidelines” they put out. We need stricter enforcement and a military presence will show people how serious this really is. I understand this sounds extreme, but I am asking for you to hear me out and understand the severity of the situation.
