Our goal is to change the life of Justin Granier, a first time offender serving a life sentence for second degree murder. The petition offers a 15-25 year time served under the current automatic sentencing laws in Louisiana. Justin is our poster child if you will, that represents many other men that were sentenced to life as first time offenders. We hope to change these laws and stop the state from using tax payers money to house the ever growing prison population. Money that can be used to boost a failing education system.
