Today, 20th December 2022, the GSPCA was called down to Havelet Beach for a very boisterous young dog called Sprout. In his excitement of going to the beach and being really energetic and a lack of good doggy manners dog. He was a recent rescue from the GSPCA! Sprout made the mistake of biting his new owner a bit too hard and trying taking off their jacket in a good ol game of tug of war. Then a free run of play and chase with the police... 

After Geoff George attended and Sprout very happily came over to him as shown in the Baliwaick express videos. And was calmly walk off the Beach. 

Due to this one mistake! This one act of over excitement. Sprout was taken back to the animal shelter. He was met by Lorna Prince who decided that Sprout was to be put down. Only 1 hour and 20 mins after he was running free on the beach. This is a callous act with no thought or care for the animal she was supposed to be in charge of.

We are calling for Lorna Price to be fired for this blatant of disregard for Sprouts life and other animals lives. The only way we can make this stop is as the public staying stop and forcing Lorna Prince to face consequences for her actions.
