Destini Smothers was found in her car on March 11,2021. Kareem Flake Sr. the last person to see Destini alive claimed that Destini jumped out of their car in the middle of the night and didn't know where she was. She was later found in the trunk of the SAME CAR. Initially it was believed that she succumbed to blunt force trauma. Further examination revealed a bullet lodged in her skull.

On November 3, Smothers was looking forward to her 26th birthday, which she planned on celebrating at Bowlero in Woodside, Queens, with some friends and her boyfriend of 13 years, Kareem Flake.

Smothers was in town for Flake’s grandmother’s funeral, which she did not attend, and had also made plans to meet her mom the following day but never showed up, which led to the mother’s concern.

WE DEMAND DESTINI SMOTHERS BE GIVEN THE SAME CARE AND ATTENTION AS THOSE COVERED EXTENSIVELY ON THE NEWS OUTLETS AND HER CHILD'S FATHER BE TAKEN IN FOR FURTHER QUESTIONING. SOMETHING JUST AIN'T RIGHT! HOW DESTINI END UP IN THE SAME TRUNK WHEN HE SAID SHE JUMPED OUT THE CAR?
