PETITION FOR BLUE

CHAINED SWEET ANGEL DOG DIES ALONE IN CLARKTON MISSOURI

Imagine if you can, the pain of being tied out, all day, every day 24/7.  Never a break, never a cold bowl of water in the sweltering Missouri heat.

 This was BLUE’s life!

BLUE, a sweet male Pitbull, died without anyone at his side, on July 12, 2018.  The authorities in Clarkton, Missouri, MUST BE held accountable!

A Samaritan had been feeding and watering poor BLUE since April, but the owners said to stop.  Often the food bowl was either empty or found to be crusted with old and rotted food scraps, and while originally the owners had agreed to give BLUE to the Samaritan but changed their minds when they believed they might be able to get money for BLUE.  The Samaritan reached out to authorities but her pleas went unheard by the City of Clarkton. Members of the public attempted to assist in freeing BLUE by also calling the local County Sheriff and asking for oversight. The owner's have family in the local government and were often warned when someone would be coming out to check on Blue's welfare. As the days turned into weeks and the heat index exceeded 100 degrees, BLUE’s condition became dire.  There was no breeze and no shade for sweet BLUE to take refuge from the scalding sun.

BLUE’s ears were literally being eaten alive by flies.  The Samaritan treated them until the owners said to stop.  BLUE’s nails were so long he cried in pain when he walked.  Even though there was an offer for rescue and the owners had agreed, they changed their minds.

On July 12, 2018, the Samaritan noticed BLUE laying in the yard unresponsive and lifeless.  It is our belief Sweet Angel BLUE died of a heat stroke/dehydration.  BLUE was buried before a necropsy could be done!  Sadly, no charges can be filed!  Our hearts are broken that BLUE heard no kind words, felt no gentle hands and was granted no reprieve in his last moments.

Please SIGN and SHARE the PETITION FOR BLUE.  HELP US BRING CHANGE TO THE CITY OF CLARKTON, MISSOURI, SO THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!

Thank you!
