Ricardo Chetty was the victim of a gruesome hit and run incident involving 3 vehicles on 22 Sept 2019.  He was run over by 2 vehicles. The 1st vehicle knocked him, he got up and ran to the pavement then the 2nd vehicle climbed the pavement knocked him then reversed over him and stopped the car while the vehicles tyre was still on his chest. The driver of the 3rd vehicle had a CPF badge and when the community tried to stop them he pulled out his firearm and pointed it at the community. Ricardo was in ICU for almost 1 month, he underwent multiple surgeries during this time and succumb to his injuries 21 Oct 2019. To date no arrest has been made, the suspects are hiding away from the police. We appeal to the criminal justice system to help us in our plea to bring the suspects to justice.
