Jermaine Doss was wrongly accused of a crime that he did not commit!

The Issue

He was wrongly accused of a crime that he did not commit by Robert Glenn Ford, a detective from the Norfolk Police Department in Norfolk, Virginia. His name is Jermaine Doss! Arrested at the age of 25, Jermaine is now 46 years old. He was sentenced to a life term, plus-38 years for FIRST DEGREE MURDER. For the last 21 years, Jermaine’s voice has been silenced in a system who has wrongfully accused him of a crime he did not commit. Jermaine has attempted all avenues of trying to receive justice and yet he remains in prison even when the prosecution's key witness recanted his testimony years ago. He also signed an affidavit stating he only testified against Doss because prosecutors had told him that otherwise he would face the death penalty. McGee also wrote a letter to Doss apologizing for his original statement. Although all evidence show Jermaine is innocent, the courts still have not released Jermaine from prison.
Although, Robert Ford accused Mr. Doss of committing the crime the real killer who confessed Nathanial McGee is out of prison and HOME NOW! Jermaine S. Doss still remains his innocence as he was not arrested with a single bullet or gun. Doss is not the PRINCIPAL person who committed the murder. However, Robert Ford serving a 12 1/2 prison sentence for extortion in other criminal cases. Robert Glenn Ford lied, stole, and manipulated innocent citizens by not carrying out his duties under the police oath.                                                                                       The family have spent over $100,000 on lawyer fees trying to free Jermaine with no release. We are asking for this petition to pardon Jermaine Doss with the assistance of the justice system. Releasing Jermaine Doss will not diminish the seriousness of the crime nor will the community be in any threat or danger.
