Elizabeth Truss

Melanie Shaw is a 46 year old UK Citizen and a key whistleblower, witness and very
brave victim of child abuse and murder that she witnessed at Beechwood children's
home as a child. It was her testimony to Nottingham Police in 2011 that unleashed
Operation Daybreak, an investigation into some 100 child abuse victims at Beechwood
and later more at Ranskill Gardens, Bestwood, Wood Nook, in Beechdale Road,
Beechdale, Risley Hall, Derbyshire, Bracken House, of Thames Street and Bulwell.

It is possible that 1,000 new abuse cases alongside the 1400 in Rotheram.

Melanie Shaw has been facilitated and executed by a collaboration between
Nottingham City and County Council, Child Protection Teams and Charities,
CPS and Legal Teams and Nottinghamshire police. Melanie caught the police
lying over investigations in their Daybreak Operation. She also spoke of children
‘suicided’ and murdered. Her testimony is reinforced by another Beechwood
victim, Mickey Summers. Her evidence is X validated also by the best friend and

former best friend of a 'suicided' young person in care, and including other Social

Service Whistleblowers who have all given their evidence to the IICSA, some of

which is now core to an active Police Operation.

Melanie Shaw was abused as a child at home by her family and again whilst she was in
the ‘care’ of Beechwood Children's Home Nottinghamshire. For her bravery of coming
forth she has been subjected to encarceration in Sodexo French ran HMP

Peterborough Prison where she was bullied, neglected and further abused, and now
sits in Foston Hall HMP Prison in Derby, Governor Carl Davies. It is reported that

Melanie has been placed in a 5 ft 10 cell for 23 hours a day, held without charge, and

does not know why she is in Prison.

 

On the 6th December 2016, whilst Melanie was still in Derby Foston Hall Prison,

without her knowledge or consent, Nottingham City Homes have evicted Melanie and '

stored' her posessions. Melanie has reported of having no money to purchase

shampoo or coffee and any money that is sent by the public is being confiscated by

Prison Staff, she has also reported threats of rape by an Officer working inside the

Prison and has been stripped naked 'for fun'.

 

Melanie was denied a court appearance in person, and was given a
Skype link but was cut off when the Judge objected to her

Statements.

Melanie's Mail kept getting 'lost' by Prison Staff, her telephone
calls are being stopped, her medication (prescribed to help

Melanie cope with the trauma of her child abuse past) has been

denied to Melanie, her visitors are either being denied or subjected

to special searches and interrogation by a legal team imposed by

the Court.

The Judge had demanded another psychiatric assessment against
Melanie, believed to be the third assessment, now Melanie is to be

sentenced on the 11th January 2017 and taken to a High Security

Hospital.
