The Issue

Update as of June 2026

On September 7, 2025, Colin Fredrick Boswell conducted a brutal attack on me and my friend. This heinous assault left us with severe injuries that we continue to struggle with daily. Despite the clear severity of the crime, our justice system has failed to hold Colin accountable in a timely manner.

Since the attack, Colin and his attorneys have continuously manipulated the system to delay the legal proceedings. They have refused to attend hearings and cancel it at last minutes for at least 6 times as of today (June 20), under various reasons - for example, "the defense counsel needs to be prepared to serve their client competently".

As victims, we are waiting for the justice and prepare ourselves to face the criminal again and again for each hearing - which are all cancelled right before their start. We were informed that the trial is postponed all the way to March 2027, with even this date remaining uncertain, so we need to keep our calendar vacant anytime to accommodate this uncertain date. This ongoing saga has left us, and other victims like us, trapped in a cycle of revictimization, where justice is perpetually out of reach.

This situation shines a glaring spotlight on a grave injustice within our legal system—where those accused of serious crimes can exploit legal loopholes and taxpayer-funded resources to delay accountability.

I hope you can stand with me in challenging this broken system that fails to prioritize victims' need for timely justice. Please sign this petition to demand that our legal system prioritizes the rights and dignity of victims, enforces stricter protocols against unreasonable trial delays, and stops allowing the exploitation of justice as a strategy by the accused. Together, we can push for a more equitable and efficient judicial process.

Original post in September 2025

On September 7, 2025, Colin Fredrick Boswell attacked me and my colleague at Eva Spa Massage in Edmonds, WA. Without provocation, he stormed into our workplace, using a metal rod to viciously assaulted us. It was a brutal attack that left us both with severe injuries. We suffered from head trauma, facial wounds, shoulder dislocations, broken ribs, and severe bruising on our legs. My friend lost consciousness during the assault, and we both required stitches and medical intervention to address our physical injuries.

Our neighbors helped us to call 911, and noticing that, Colin quickly left. He calmly picked up all his stuff on the ground, and covered his face with a mask before leaving.

What's even more horrifying is that when apprehended by the police, Colin expressed no remorse. He stated "I'm very displeased that I didn’t kill those ladies." This wasn't just an act of violence; it was an attempt on our lives.

It’s astonishing that when checking online, we found 33 previous criminal records on Colin Boswell starting from 1997, spreading Edmonds and other cities in Seattle. The criminal records included multiple times of assault, and threaten of kill. We heard from our neighbors this guy visited their place several months ago and acted aggressively.

Colin Boswell has delayed the hearing for six consecutive times, and these extra costs and expenses are all borne by tax payers, including us the victims. The judicial system now faces the critical task of ensuring justice is served. Colin Fredrick Boswell poses a significant threat to public safety in Edmonds and beyond. His actions were premeditated and malicious, and his own words indicate a propensity for further violence.

We, the community of Edmonds, urge the courts to consider the gravity of Colin's crimes and the danger he represents. Imposing a life sentence is not just meaningful for the victims; it's crucial for the safety of all residents.

Please sign this petition to demand a life sentence for Colin Fredrick Boswell, thus safeguarding our communities and showing support for victims who deserve justice. Your signature can help prevent future tragedies and bring peace of mind to those affected.
