Justice for Wyatt (Demand Felony Charges against Heather Nicole Brockman)

Justice for Wyatt (Demand Felony Charges against Heather Nicole Brockman)
The Issue
We the undersigned citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States, demand that the Boone County Sheriff arrest and Boone County Commonwealth Attorney prosecute Heather Nicole Brockman for willfully and maliciously inflicting life threatening injuries on her four month old son.
Wyatt was four months old when it was discovered he had 4 healed posterior rib fractures, a compound ulnar fracture, and petichial hemorrhaging in both of his eyes (meaning he was strangled). On November 29, 2011, Cincinnati Children's Hospital determined that the injuries were not caused by accidental means, but were intentional. Heather, his mother, admitted to the police (Boone County Detective Bruce McVey) and hospital that she caused the injuries, but she was never charged or arrested.
Heather underwent a court ordered functional capacity evaluation, and the professional who conducted the evaluation determined that Heather had the physical ability to inflict the injuries. They further determined and explained to the family court that Heather was trying to manipulate the evaluation. Still, she was not arrested or charged.
She was ordered to have her parenting time supervised by her parents, but she and Wyatt both live with them. On October 25,2013 and March 04, 2021, Heather was found guilty of contempt in family court for not having her parenting time supervised. No real consequences were given and she is continuing to be alone with him.
In 2021, 452,313 children were reported to have been abused. 77% of them (343,109) were by a parent. 210,746 of those children (61.42%) were abused by their mother, which is the highest number of abuse by perpetrator relationship to the child. Abused children are more likely to be abused by a relative, and are abused more by their mother acting alone than anyone else. In 2021, women accounted as 51.7% of all abusers of children, and mothers accounted as 50.5% of all killers of children from abuse. (Source: https://www.acf.hhs.gov/cb/data-research/child-maltreatment). These statistics are widely ignored, and children are more often returned to their abuser, leading to the child's death because their abuser never faced criminal charges! It's time this STOPS NOW, and our elected officials STOP ignoring the seriousness of these alarming statistics!
Sheriff Michael A. Helmig and Commonwealth Attorney Louis Kelly need to stop ignoring the seriousness of Heather's crimes against Wyatt, and prosecute her for Criminal Abuse in the First Degree. KRS 508.100.
In February 2020, Wyatt's father filed several motions for contempt against Heather in the Boone Family Court. Heather sent him an email saying that she would kill Wyatt and him if he did not withdraw his motions; which is a Class D Felony. KRS 524.040
NOW, THEREFORE, we, the undersigned Citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States DEMAND that the Boone County Sheriff and Commonwealth Attorney do its job they were elected by the PEOPLE to do and seek justice for this child!
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we have affixed our signatures hereunto:
*NOTE: There is NO Statute of Limitations for this crime! I have been fighting for nearly 13 years to get justice for Wyatt, and I'm out of options. I need help from the community to get justice for my son!*
