There is nowhere to report corruption and fraud in UK Tribunal.

I reported corruption in a UK Tribunal, but no investigation was done. The senior judge who responded to my report of corruption, had initially said “This is clear bias, and that the appeal judge would help me”.

The senior judge also did not deny that the Tribunal judge was paid a lot of money for punishing me and sweeping my case under the carpet and he also said the concerned judge did not do it alone but with others. However, he did nothing about it. There seem to be nobody to report to if Tribunal corruption is covered up by the senior judge. Nobody wants to take responsibility. 

I have been given answers like: There is no error in law (yet the facts and evidence have been totally ignored)

: The Judiciary system is independent and that nobody can comment or intervene etc.

: Go to the Dr (for mental health issues caused by racial discrimination and corruption that remain unresolved.), etc, which is an insult to me.

A few years ago, I was unlawfully punished and made to pay £ 10 000 to former employer by a corrupt judge. The case had gone through preliminary hearing and claims that would attract costs had been deducted, but shockingly, that and my evidence were ignored by the final hearing Judge. I had to pay the fine as had been struggling a lot with mental breakdown, fighting suicidal thoughts every day, and could not have continued receiving threatening emails from the other party.

The final hearing Judge deliberately lied, wilfully ignored the employment law, and my evidence to pervert the course of justice.  He punished me and made sure I was left with no money so I would not appeal. His judgement contradicts the preliminary judgment and others.  He had shyly said “I am not working on my own, but we are a team”, or something similar to that on passing his judgement.

I have not done anything wrong on here. I had taken my former employer to court for justice, only to get exploited and oppressed for the judge’s own benefit. The final judge undermined me, lied and deliberately ignored employment law, facts and my evidence. 

On the final day after he told me to pay the money to the other party, he did not deny when I said to him, “You do realise that I should be compensated, instead of paying the other party”, but later on, he went on to lie more on writing up the judgement that took almost three months to be released. I had requested / indicated to him three times that I needed a written judgement. After his judgement, he had also said to me “Do you need the written judgement? He also advised me to go back to the union that had helped employer to cover up racial discrimination and also denied me a legal representative. He also denied me information on who to report him to.

The final hearing judgement remains concealed and does not seem to have been published on the usual website. I have looked a few times and failed to see it. Even a legal practitioner had told me the case was not on the website although the law states that all judgements must be published.

On appealing, the barrister representing me got disconnected about 4 to 5 times until the appeal was rescheduled for two days later. On return, the appeal judge did not want to hear anything, he denied me the appeal. No investigation on the cause of disconnections on my barrister and what transpired during the two-day break.

As a black person, there is nobody to represent /fully represent me. I had also been denied legal representative by the union that supported racism and constructive dismissal.

There has been downplaying of corruption, lack of transparency, gaslighting, denial of information, abuse of power, intimidation, disrespect, institutional racism, undermining me and violation of my rights by those who are supposed to be protecting and upholding law.

It is not my fault that this has got to this stage. This was a clear case which was twisted to suit the judge’s interests.

My mental health due to psychological torture by the former employer was further worsened by the Tribunal. I have had no peace or freedom due to carrying this burden of corruption. I have been left holding onto the fraudulent judgement and there was no way I could have prevented this because they seem to have teamed up against me and it all appeared to have been pre-planned.

 Authorities have turned a blind eye on this scandal, protecting the perpetrators and leaving me fighting suicidal ideation in my everyday life. The never-ending battle has destroyed me, my mother and my whole family.

While this case may affect litigants in person, mainly people of ethnic background and all that are denied representative by union, the effects of racial discrimination and corruption affect the whole nation. 

Both racial discrimination and corruption are the triggers of chronic mental stress, anxiety, depression and racial trauma to the victims. An example, my mental health issues were caused by former employer where I was discriminated and also ignored on reporting problems. The mental health problems were further worsened by the Union and Tribunals.

The nation as a whole is at stake due to increase in mental health issues caused by unnecessary trauma to victims.

The costs of managing the mental problems which is adding more burden to the health delivery system -where this can be prevented if rules and laws were followed by the perpetrators.

Corruption and racism undermine inclusivity and promote inequalities.

Corruption destroys public trust in the justice system.

Racism and corruption both violate human rights.

If such unlawful and fraudulent activities are allowed to continue in the nation, it could lead to complete destruction of the future generations and nation as a whole. We must act right now to build a corrupt free nation!
