The Issue

There is nowhere to report corruption and fraud in UK Tribunal.

I reported corruption in a UK Tribunal, but no investigation was done and the case remains buried. Judge Swann, the senior judge who responded to my report of corruption, had initially said “This is clear bias, and that the appeal judge would help me”.

Judge Swann also did not deny that the tribunal judge, judge Ahmed had mishandled and intentionally lied for financial benefit, and that Judge Ahmed did not do it alone but with others. However, he did nothing about it. There seem to be nobody to report to if tribunal corruption is covered up by the senior judge. Nobody wants to take responsibility and accountability.

I have been given answers like: There is no error in law (yet the facts and evidence have been totally ignored)

: The Judiciary system is independent and that nobody can comment or intervene etc.

: Go to the Dr (for mental health issues caused by racial discrimination and corruption that remain unresolved.), etc, which is an insult to me.

A few years ago, I was unlawfully punished and made to pay £ 10 000 to former employer/NHS trust by final hearing judge Ahmed, who after undermining me as a black woman, had seemingly teamed up with the NHS trust, and the union to punish me and teach me that racism must not be challenged. The case had gone through preliminary hearing and claims that would attract costs had been deducted, but shockingly, that and my evidence were ignored by judge Ahmed for his personal gains. I had to pay the fine as had been struggling a lot with mental breakdown, fighting suicidal thoughts every day, and could not have continued receiving threatening emails from the NHS trust’s representative. Following the forced payment of £10 000, the NHS trust refused to give me proof of payment. (My bank account shows the outgoing amount though).

Judge Ahmed lied, wilfully ignored the employment law, and my evidence to pervert the course of justice.  He punished me and made sure I was left with no money to appeal. His judgement contradicts the preliminary judgment and others.  He had shyly said, “I am not working on my own, but as a team”, or something similar to that on passing his judgement. To me this sounds like planned group criminal activities happening in a court.

I have not done anything wrong on here. I had taken my former employer NHS trust to court for justice, following ongoing racism, which continued for years, only to get exploited and oppressed for the judge’s own benefit. I have also been forced to rely on borrowings by the corrupt judiciary system that teamed up with a racist employer where reports of racism are not tolerated.

On the final day after judge Ahmed told me to pay the money to the NHS trust, he did not deny when I said to him, “You do realise that I should be compensated, instead of paying the other party”, but later on, he went on to lie more on writing up the fraudulent judgement that took him almost three months to release. I had requested / indicated to him three times that I needed a written judgement. After his judgement, judge Ahmed had also said to me “Do you need the written judgement? He also advised me to go back to the union that had helped employer to cover up racial discrimination, and constructive dismissal, and also denied me a legal representative. It made me think he had already spoken with the union. Judge Ahmed also denied me information on who to report him to. I have continued holding onto the fraudulent judgement which is everyday torture.

The final hearing judgement remains concealed and does not seem to have been published on the usual website. I have looked a few times and failed to see it. Even a legal practitioner had told me the case was not on the website although the law states that all judgements must be published.

On appealing, the barrister representing me got disconnected about 4 to 5 times on zoom until the appeal was rescheduled for two days later. On return, the appeal judge, judge Barklem did not want to hear anything, he denied me the appeal. Judge Barklem also added that “they could have charged her more”, so as to intimidate me more, and pervert the course of justice as he covered up corruption. No investigation on the cause of disconnections on my barrister and what had transpired during the two-day break.

As a black person, there is nobody to represent /fully represent me. I had also been denied legal representative by the union that supported racism and constructive dismissal in an NHS trust, while the woman from the arbitrator also took their sides.

There has been downplaying of corruption, lack of transparency, gaslighting, denial of information, abuse of power, intimidation, disrespect, institutional racism, undermining me and violation of my rights by those who are supposed to be protecting and upholding law.

It is not my fault that this has got to this stage. This was a clear case which was twisted to suit the judge’s interests.

My mental health due to psychological torture by the former employer was further worsened by the Tribunal. I have had no peace or freedom due to carrying this burden of corruption alone. I have been left holding onto the fraudulent judgement and there was no way I could have prevented this because they seem to have teamed up against me and it all appeared to have been pre-planned by a team of male judges mainly.

Authorities have turned a blind eye on this scandal, protecting the perpetrators and leaving me fighting suicidal ideation in my everyday life. The never-ending battle has destroyed me, my mother, my whole family, and relationships with people.

While this case may affect litigants in person, mainly people of ethnic background and all that are denied representative by union, the effects of racial discrimination and corruption affect the whole nation. For example, in the case of judge Ahmed, judge Swann, and judge Barklem. It has all been covered up yet it is a place of law.

Both racial discrimination and corruption are the triggers of chronic mental stress, anxiety, depression and racial trauma to the victims. An example, my mental health issues were caused by former employer where I was discriminated and also ignored on reporting problems. It was further worsened by the Union and Tribunals. The NHS had never denied discriminating me, on complaining to them.

The MOJ has refused to take responsibility, saying tribunals are independent. I have also been referred back to the perpetrators that committed these criminal offences for their corruption to remain covered up.

The nation as a whole is at stake due to increase in mental health issues caused by unnecessary trauma to victims, yet nobody seems to bother on why we are getting mental problems from employers and courts.

The costs of managing the mental problems which is adding more burden to the health delivery system -where this can be prevented if rules and laws were followed by the perpetrators, and people like judge Ahmed and all that he committed fraud with are controlled by law on carrying out their duties.

Corruption and racism undermine inclusivity and promote inequalities.

Corruption destroys public trust in the justice system.

Racism and corruption both violate human rights.

The MOJ has refused to take responsibility, saying tribunals are independent. I have also been referred back to the perpetrators that committed these offences.

Other political figures have also ignored and distanced themselves from this case, yet they have promised to build a fair nation. Names will follow shortly.

All we know is that nobody is above the law, yet the trio, judge Ahmed, judge Swann and judge Barklem have continued to serve the nation following the cover ups of scandals and money making from poor and racially discriminated victims. They do not seem to have been investigated. The NHS trust has also remained tight lipped while holding onto the money that I sweated for and had been forced to give to them as they seem to believe that I do know what to do with money and they are better having it themselves. Somebody needs to intervene!

I have nowhere to go if I ever needed to use Tribunal, due to an unresolved issue that led to the exposure of unlawful activities committed by some judges behind those closed doors.

We need changes – tribunals and judges must be monitored to protect victims like me, and all others that have been intimidated, had their money taken by force, and silenced.
