Dear supporter of our petition to reform to the Victims Services Scheme for parents like us who are victims of unspeakable crimes. Your support has meant a great deal.
Today, we’re writing to invite your continued support but this time, we’re fighting for justice for our precious little girl who was brutally killed four years ago.
In our fight for justice for Biddy, we’ve launched a NSW Government E-Petition calling for Parliamentary Inquiries into the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions’ (DPP) handling of the case against Biddy’s self-confessed killer and the Mental Health Review Tribunal’s (MHRT) lack of transparency and accountability; reform of the Department of Communities and Justice Victims’ Support Services (VSS); and, a Coronial Inquest into the circumstances surrounding Biddy’s death.
We need 20,000 signatures from NSW to have our petition, Justice for Biddy Porter presented to parliament in the hope that while fighting for justice for Biddy, we’ll create an open justice system for all victims of serious crimes.
While nothing we could do will ever bring our daughter back to us, with your help we can honour her with the justice she so deserves. Biddy will not be silenced. Please continue to support our cause and sign and share our Justice for Biddy Porter petition today to help us give Biddy back her voice.
We hope you can help.
