Thank you all so much for signing & sharing, please, more, more, more sharing!

This petition has been running for approximately 3 months now, I am so grateful for every signature, every share, every person who has supported me.
This is only a small step in my massive, long journey to get justice against my assailant - a child rapist. He raped me me repeatedly from 11/12 years old to 16/17 years. He destroyed my life, left me unable to be happy and fulfilled as an adult. I was 17 years old when I finally sought the courage to tell him to stay away from me, - some 30 years later, I was strong enough to disclose the abuse I suffered to South Wales Police.
My assailant was charged with 9 counts of rape of a child. I gave evidence at 3 Crown Court trails. I was SO determined to see him get the punishment he deserves, but I was failed catastrophically by South Wales Police & the JS.
The jury could not reach a decision - hung jury - they allowed a child rapist and violent abuser of women to walk free. I am devasted, broken and I feel so betrayed.
Since I started my awareness and support group to help other survivors, I have been further broken and overwhelmed by the volume of victims SO badly let down all over the UK.
That is the reason for this petition. The JS does not support victims, I have not received any support, no safeguarding measures put in place by any agencies, I have been let down continually. No-one seems to care about the suffering of victims or children.
Whilst I was involved in the process of attending court and giving evidence, I felt like I was the one on trial. It was triggering and horrific, it is little wonder that victims do not come forward for years - when they do find the strength, they are treated badly. Less than 1% of rape/sexual assault cases get to court - this is a scandalous failure of the authorities.
The JS beyond desperate for reform and the corruption has to stop, fast - but it will NOT happen without ALL of us survivors/victims of abuse/crime taking a stand and telling the government that 'enough is enough'.
PLEASE MAKE THE GOVERNMENT PROVE THAT VICTIMS OF ABUSE AND CRIME ARE A PRIORITY, THAT OUR CHILDREN ARE A PRIORITY.
PLEASE SIGN AND SHARE - DO IT NOW - WE HAVE VOICES AND WE NEED TO USE THEM FOR POSTIVE CHANGE.
