An 11 year old girl gets brutally raped over the course of a month.  Christopher Butt, a 41 year old male admits to raping her, luring her into his home and threatening to burn her house down with her parents if she told anyone.  New foundland and Labrador Supreme Court judge Goodridge gave him five years, which is the minimum sentence.  Apparently if you rape a child in Canada, admit to it and apologize you might only have to do a little over a year in jail once it's all said and done.  We can't sit back and let this happen!!!!!!!  Who cares if this man apologized, if he had similar things happen to him as a child, if he participates in rehabilitation programs.  He RAPED a little girl and if we don't fight against the justice system we're  failing these children too.
