This request for petition is to seek justice after the absolute miscarriage of justice performed by the Findlay OH Police Department in the investigation and subsequent charges and convictions related to the murder case of Vera Jo Reigle. 

ALL INTERROGATIONS ARE LINKED BELOW! You can see for yourself WHY these monsters should be in prison! 

Vera Jo Reigle was murdered by Daniel Lee Bixler Jr. and Nicole Peters on March 26th, 2011 in Findlay, Ohio (Hancock County).  

After 9 interrogations regarding the case were released to the public, and nearly all of the individuals in said interrogations admitted to the long term torture and sexual assault of Vera Jo, only Danny Bixler Jr. and Nicole Peters were ever charged and/or convicted regarding her murder. 

Everyone in the Brooks/Emmons household was aware of what was happening to Vera, and in all likelihood either complicit OR involved in her regular abuse. 

In Shannon Brooks interrogations, she admittedly assaulted Vera Jo, witnessed MANY assaults on Vera Jo, and faced no charges. 

In Scottie Emmons interrogation/interview, he admittedly had sexual relations with Vera Jo the day she was murdered, and knew that she had severe wounds, including stab wounds to her leg, severe bruising of her body, and he claims that she willingly had consensual sex with him. It was later said in Daniel Bixler Jr's final interrogation/confession that Scottie was with him and Nicole at the bridge where Vera Jo Reigle was murdered. 

Zachary Brooks was the father Vera Jo Reigle's daughter. During his interrogations he placed the focus solely on Daniel Bixler Jr. and Nicole Peters. However, in Daniel Bixler Jr's final interrogation, he claimed that Zachary was not only the person that made the call to kill Vera Jo Reigle, he was ALSO at the bridge, and also partook in the stabbing and attempted decapitation of Vera. 

Garth Brooks, although his interrogation was not released, was also named by Daniel Bixler Jr as one of the assailants at the bridge that night, and partook in stabbing Vera Jo Reigle. He was said to have stabbed her 2 times. 

Cheri Brooks, like Garth, did not have an interrogation that was released, but is said by many to be the mastermind of the entire ordeal, and deserves to be investigated as such. Daniel Bixler Jr. makes it clear that Cheri knew what was happening the night Vera was murdered. Cheri also had a very strong interest in gaining custody of Vera Jo Reigle's daughter, Willadean. 

The details of this murder are among the most HORRIFIC that I have ever come across, and ANYONE involved in this absolutely atrocious crime against another human being, should be held accountable. I would ask that the City of Findlay, Hancock County and the State of Ohio re-open this murder case, and bring true justice to Vera Jo Reigle AKA Vera Jo Messersmith.
