The Issue

We, the undersigned students, alumni, and concerned citizens, are demanding immediate action and accountability in light of a serious sexual harassment case at Holy Child School.

A girl student from Class 8 has reported being sexually harassed and physically threatened by a classmate. Despite multiple witness statements and the victim’s courage in reporting it, the administration has allegedly downplayed the incident, ignored key evidence, and tried to silence her voice — reportedly to protect the accused, who belongs to an influential family.

This is not just immoral — it is illegal under the POCSO Act, which demands immediate protection and justice for child victims.

We are outraged that:

The accused remains in school
The principal and staff attempted to suppress the case
The victim's family is now being harassed and pressured to withdraw

Our Demands:
Immediate resignation or transfer of the principal involved in suppressing the complaint
A transparent, independent investigation by external authorities under the POCSO Act
Termination of the accused student’s admission to ensure safety of the victim and school community
Immediate suspension of any students found complicit in threatening, harassing, or silencing the victim
Protection and non-retaliation guarantees for the victim, her family, and all witnesses
Formation of proper child safety mechanisms and awareness workshops as required by Indian law
