Justice for the Alexander’s

The Issue

We need your help! Let’s show the Pike County District Attorney’s Office and  Child Protective Services that we will not sit idly by and let them destroy the lives of innocent families. It is their duty to thoroughly investigate claims of abuse by considering all the information presented to them.

Families being together are very important and for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, there are more and more situations arising that many people are completely unaware of and it is time to make more people aware. Tarilyn and Tyler Alexander were not given the opportunity to be the parents they were so excited to be due to false allegations of child abuse to their 8 week old son Parker. In April of 2021, Parker’s young parents awoke in the morning to find their infant son had swelling in his leg. They immediately took Parker to the area hospital and learned that his right femur was fractured. Dfcs was called and Parker was transported to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Egleston where they performed a skeletal survey and discovered a total of nine fractures all at different stages of healing as well a vitamin D deficiency. Parker was immediately removed from his parents home and care. Dfcs did no investigation into the history of the mother’s pregnancy complications or the possibility of inherited conditions. Instead of doing a full panel of testing, Dfcs requested very few tests and no second opinions were acquired. Tarilyn and Tyler have stood firm in their innocence. They have since both been diagnosed with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which is a connective tissue disorder that also causes bone fragility in infants. Tarilyn and Tyler have been seeking professional second, third, fourth opinions, etc. on their own and have had to hire lawyers to help prove their innocence. During this time they were arrested with child cruelty and aggravated assault and battery charges pending and they spent 2 months in jail before making bond. They have not been allowed to see their son since he was taken away at 8 weeks of age. This has been going on for over a year and dfcs has decided to come back into their lives for a second time and take their new one month old son Reid despite a judge saying they could keep him. While illegally forcing their way into the home without permission, a court order, or a warrant. Please help in joining the fight to get justice for this INNOCENT and LOVING family. They just want their lives back.
