Taskmaster (Antonia Dreykov) was introduced in Black Widow as a mysterious and powerful figure — but became the victim of one of the MCU’s most disappointing creative decisions.

Despite her incredible potential, she was sidelined with shallow development and no depth. And in Thunderbolts, things got worse: she had only a single line of dialogue and was killed off immediately afterward, with no narrative impact — despite being heavily featured in the film’s promotional material as if she had a major role.

This is a disservice to the character, to actress Olga Kurylenko, and to the fans, who hoped for a well-deserved second chance for Taskmaster to shine. She deserves a fresh start. A redemption arc. A portrayal that honors her unique skills, her story, and her emotional and visual potential — whether in a future film or Disney+ series.

Marvel Studios still has a chance to make it right. And we, the fans, are here to remind them that characters should never be treated as disposable.

A Marvel Studios ainda pode corrigir esse erro. E nós, fãs, estamos aqui para lembrar que personagens não devem ser descartáveis.
