These actions are organized by the coalition Due Process for Tariq Ramadan in response to the denial of basic human rights in a case that has become highly politicized. Many countries will be involved in this action including the UK, Canada, Belgium, USA, Brazil, Niger, Senegal, Mauritius and others. A vigil will also be held at Fresnes prison in Paris where Professor Tariq Ramadan is currently being held in preventative detention.
