JUSTICE FOR TARA

JUSTICE FOR TARA
The Issue
A trans woman named Ms. Tara from chennai, India has been travelling to a nearby shop after meeting her friends to recharge her SIM card at early in the morning. She was caught by the policemen in that area accusing her of prostitution and took her to the police station. She was verbally and physically abused by the policemen. Then she died in a very mysterious way. It was framed as if she committed suicide using petrol early in the morning with policemen around in the area. This is the plight of every trans woman in India. We have hereby created this form to seek JUSTICE FOR TARA. We will fight till our last breath. Hope you help us in finding the culprit officer and his colleagues which the police department still hasn't enclosed about who was on duty. Please do sign this petition to help trans woman from India live a peaceful life. Today it's Tara tomorrow it might be someone else. Life isn't that easy to earn. Turn your ears.
